At least that's what both mediainfo and ffprobe tell me. mp4/h.264 files with no HDR?, zero, zilch, all 8-bit, every clip. So, I took a sample video with each resolution/mode, and as the attached results show. I just bought a "Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus", which in video recording mentions an auto-HDR mode and a HDR-on mode for some of the video resolutions (the phone actually tells me no HDR for above 1080p). Seeking advice on video files recorded by a Samsung S8+ - is there no HDR file as advertised ? ![]()
